The first print review for Clockfire is a very insightful take on the book — much closer to my own take in certain respects than I expected from a reviewer. It’s the final book reviewed in the article.

In these spare, nightmarish theatre-scapes, Ball directs our “impossible dreams” by blurring the script between actor and audience, the real and the staged, the lived and the dreamed, the self and the other.
