Mierau, myself, and Starnino (on bpNichol)

I chatted with Maurice Mierau about Carmine Starnino’s essay on bpNichol.

You have to subscribe to the website or pick up a print copy of the magazine to read Starnino’s piece, but our chat is free online. I’d encourage people to read the full article. In case this isn’t clear from the chat, it’s an excellent article overall, and situates Nichol well within/against his historical context. I’m no Starnino scholar, but I would go so far to say that it’s probably his best writing on any “avant-garde” poet, and one of his better reviews.

To celebrate (over) a decade since my first book, I’m offering it for free.

EX MACHINA is a choose-your-own-adventure-style poetry-novel hybrid about how machines have changed what it means to be human.
