Cordite Poetry Review: Ex Machina and the Creative Commons (with Remixes)

Thrilled to have a piece on my book Ex Machina in the Cordite Poetry Review, for an issue on the Creative Commons. Ex Machina was released under a Creative Commons licence that allows for the production of unauthorized, attributed, non-commercial copies and derivations. My second book, Clockfire, will be released in the same manner.

I enlisted poets Ryan Fitzpatrick and Jay MillAr (also the book’s publisher) to help me, and we produced a piece consisting of a statement from me, some excerpts from the book, a statement and some “remixes” from Ryan, and then a statement from Jay.

The First One's Free.

The First One's Free.

To celebrate (over) a decade since my first book, I’m offering it for free.

EX MACHINA is a choose-your-own-adventure-style poetry-novel hybrid about how machines have changed what it means to be human.

Fill out this form so we can stay in touch, and I’ll send you the book.
