Adam Petrash interviews me for The Uniter

Thanks to Adam Petrash for interviewing me in The Uniter. I will post the full transcript of the interview on this site in the coming weeks. When I do, you may wonder where Adam is getting the “black sheep” comment — he's paraphrasing a thing I said casually when not being interviewed. What I mean, of course (as Adam suggests, by noting my recent award) is that I'm a bit of an anomaly in terms of my subjects and approach, not that I am overlooked or otherwise weirdly perceived in Winnipeg, where I've always been welcomed. In the full transcript, I compare poetry to the Transformers movie: you'll have to wait for that! Enjoy the article in the meantime.
