Congratulations Saleema!

My friend Saleema Nawaz won the Journey Prize! I guess good things DO happen to nice people. Her first book Mother Superior is also published by another friend, Melanie Little at Freehand Books. Both the book and the press are worth checking out. Saleema has also started a weblog which has spurred me, along with complaints by the few readers of my own blog, to reconsider thje nature of my own blogging. (And that’s right… I still say “weblog” and put the hyphen in “e-mail.”) I expect to settle on some sort of decision regarding blogging in general after I finish my work for the week.
